The number "55," the title track of my mini-album, perhaps represents the weight of time, a powerful reminder that the end of my challenges is near. Throughout my life, amidst countless stories, I've found myself asking myself if I, too, have spent my days watching the clock, making excuses and looking back. Entering the 21st century, the cutting-edge technologies I'd seen in my childhood science fiction films and comics have become reality and begun to dominate the world. From that moment on, I began to build my dreams upon those technologies. I've created countless songs, miraculously achieved the cartoonist I'd dreamed of becoming in elementary school, and even become a webtoon artist on Naver, a massive platform of the era. Within this exciting world, I've fulfilled my childhood dreams one by one, soothing the burdens of daily life and comforting myself. Yet, despite this, a void remained in my heart. Now, I'm filling that void. "Ballboyattacks," my band, sings to the world. In this world, I'm "Lightning," or "Thunderbolt" in English.
The dream of 'Lightning' has now begun.

미니 앨범 타이틀곡 '55'라는 숫자는 어쩌면 도전의 끝이 머지않았음을 나에게 강하게 각인 시키는, 세월의 무게일지도 모른다. 살아오며 수많은 사연 속에서 나 역시 이 핑계 저 핑계를 대며 시계만 바라보고 산 것은 아니었는지 스스로에게 묻게 된다. 21세기에 들어서며 어린 시절 공상 과학 영화와 만화 속에 있던 최첨단 기술들이 현실이 되어 세상을 지배하기 시작했고, 나는 그 순간부터 그 기술 위에 내 꿈을 담기 시작했다. 수많은 음악을 만들었고, 국민학교 시절 잠깐 꿈꾸었던 만화가를 기적처럼 시대의 거대 플랫폼 네이버 웹툰 작가도 해보고 재미있는 세상 속에서 어린 시절의 꿈들을 하나 둘 이루며 일상의 무게를 달래고 나 자신을 달래며 하루하루를 달려왔지만, 그럼에도 가슴 한쪽에는 채워지지 않는 빈 공간이 남아 있었다. 이제 그 빈틈을 채운다. '볼보이어택스 (Ballboyattacks) ', 나의 밴드로 세상에 노래한다. 여기 세상에서는 나는 '번개', 영어 이름으로는 '썬더 볼트'.
'번개'의 꿈이 지금 시작되었다.
