크리에이터 진용진이 엄청난 화제가 되었던 것은 물론 수많은 이야기를 낳았던 “머니게임”에 이어 “버튼게임”을 선보인다. “버튼게임”은 돈이 절실하게 필요한 사람들이 한자리에 모여 단 세 개의 버튼에 모든 것을 걸고 끝까지 살아남아 상금을 쟁취하는 것이 목적인 프로그램이다. 어김없이 리얼리티 서바이벌의 형태를 띠고 있다. 하지만 공동의 화합이 불가능한 조건 속에서 돈에 간절한 이들이 얼마나 이기적인 모습을 할 수 있는지를 보여준다는 점에서, 그리고 사생활이라는 것이 존재하지 않는 특수한 공간 속 각자의 가치관과 갈등을 적나라하게 드러낸다는 점에서 좀 더 보는 이들을 집중하게 만든다. 무엇보다 참가자들이 실제로 돈이 절실하게 필요한 입장이라는 점에서 더욱 그렇다.
