Choi Hang-seok is an excellent musician, but he also organized an organization called the 'Korea Blues Society' and through that organization, he selects and participates in the International Blues Challenge (IBC), a competition held in Memphis, the mecca of blues, every year. He also plans and hosts the Seoul Blues Festival every year and operates a club called 'Blues Society' with the same name as the organization, providing performance opportunities to musicians.

This album is enriched by the guest appearances of Korean music masters whom he regards as mentors and teachers. These include the aforementioned Lee Kyung-cheon, the legend of Shinchon Blues, Eom In-ho, and Kim Byung-ho, who he worked with as a sideman before his solo debut. Lee Kyung-cheon shows his affection for Choi Hang-seok by providing songs he composed himself. K-블루스를 온몸으로 이끌고 있는 신념의 사나이 최항석

뮤지션으로서의 최항석도 뛰어나지만, 그는 그 외에 '한국 블루스 소사이어티'라는 단체를 조직하고 그곳을 통해 매년 블루스의 메카, 미국 멤피스에서 열리는 International Blues Challenge(IBC)라는 경연대회에 우리나라 블루스 뮤지션을 선발하여 참가하고 있다. 또 매년 서울블루스 페스티벌을 기획, 주최하고 있고 단체와 동명의 '블루스 소사이어티'라는 클럽을 운영하며 뮤지션들에게 연주 기회를 제공하고 있다.

이 앨범에는 그가 멘토, 사부로 모시는 한국음악의 거장들이 게스트로 참가하고 있어 앨범을 더욱 풍성하게 해주고 있다. 위에 언급한 이경천, 신촌블루스의 전설 엄인호, 솔로 데뷔전 그가 사이드맨으로 함께 했던 김병호 등이다. 이경천은 본인이 작곡한 곡을 제공해 최항석에 대한 애정을 보여준다. 최항석이란 인물이 지닌 친화력, 선배들에 대한 리스펙트, 그동안의 행보로 보여준 신뢰감 등이 잘 드러나는 지점이다.
