Description (Translated):

The first full-length album by guitarist Choi Young-doo of Open Your Eyes Kobe.
<9 places, 9 stories>
[9] is the result of a long-term work utilizing written records and collected sounds from visiting nine locations. The thoughts that came to mind in each location were developed to tell stories about ‘things that will disappear and things that will come,’ and artwork created by mapping the places where thoughts originated was applied to the jacket.
Choi Young-doo participated in the composition, arrangement, performance, and technical work of all the songs, and Kim Ki-jo participated in the artwork.
This album will be released simultaneously on cassette tape produced by Analogue Media Technologies along with the digital album.

01.Rainbow Village_Namhae
I met strangers and we all laughed together on the last day.
I saw the waves crashing against the pebbles.

02. Topdong Square_Jeju
There was no time to spare and expectations were high.
It rained for two days and was windy for two days.
Still, the day was clear.

03. Naksan_Yangyang
The scoreboard behind the fog was as deep as the sea.

04. Mountain_Wonju
I saw a dead bird that was still underdeveloped.
There were insects gathered around, and the mother bird was nowhere to be seen.

05. Yola Tango_Daejeon
It was sunny when I went down, and it rained when I left.

06. Yeongbingwan_Iksan
There was a lot of talking and we walked for a long time.
Today's story was actually something I was talking to myself.

07. Bongui Mountain_Chuncheon
A day when emotion was overwhelming,
A night where I could laugh at the worries I had revealed.

08. Taepyeong-ro_Jung-gu
Police, office workers, students, old people, young ladies, old men
We all smoked together

09. Yeochi-gil_Paju
The beginning comes only after the end,

눈뜨고코베인 기타리스트 최영두의 첫 번째 정규 앨범.
<9곳의 장소, 9개의 이야기>
[9]은 긴 호흡을 가지고 9곳의 지역을 방문하여 기록한 글과 채집한 소리를 활용하여 작업한 결과물이다. 각각의 장소에서 떠오른 생각을 발전시켜 '사라질 것들, 다가올 것들'에 대한 이야기를 담아내었고, 생각의 발생지를 지도화 하여 제작한 아트웍을 자켓에 적용하였다.
전 곡의 작곡, 편곡, 연주, 기술작업에는 최영두, 아트웍에는 김기조가 함께 하였다.
이번 앨범은 디지털 앨범과 함께 Analogue Media Technologies를 통해 제작한 카세트 테이프를 동시 발매한다.

01.무지개 마을_남해
모르는 이들을 만났고, 마지막 날 다 함께 웃었다.
나는 자갈에 부딪히는 파도를 보았다.

02.탑동광장_제주
여유는 없었고 기대는 많았다.
이틀은 비가 왔고, 이틀은 바람이 불었다.
그래도 하루는 맑았다.

03.낙산_양양
해무 뒤로 비치는 전광판이 바다만큼 깊었다.

04.산_원주
덜 자란채로 죽어있는 새를 보았다.
주변에 벌레들이 모여있었고, 어미새는 보이지 않았다.

05.욜라탱고_대전
내려갈 때 해가 났고, 떠날 때 비가 왔다.

06.영빈회관_익산
많은 말이 오갔고, 한참을 걸었다.
오늘의 이야기는 사실 자신에게 하는 말이었다.

07.봉의산_춘천
감동이 오만이었던 낮,
내어 놓은 고민에 웃을 수 있었던 밤.

08.태평로_중구
경찰도 회사원도 학생도 노인도 아가씨도 아저씨도
모두 함께 담배를 피웠다

09.여치길_파주
끝이 되서야 시작이 다가왔고,
주저하다 잡았다
