CREZL's

This new album follows the mini-album 'CRE: 㘉' that Krezzle released after their debut, and they are planning to resume activities with a new album in 2025. It is filled with a total of three songs, including the title song 'HAKUNA MATATA', 'Mang-u-ga (望又歌)', and the digital single 'Faded Letter' that was released in October of last year.

In particular, this album was written and composed by the members of Krezzle themselves, and with the addition of general production by music director Kwon Tae-eun, a master of crossover music, it has garnered a lot of anticipation from fans even before its release.

The title song 'HAKUNA MATATA' was written, composed, and produced by member Jo Jin-ho himself, giving birth to a crossover song that has been further upgraded. As the title suggests, the song means 'no problem', 'let's throw away all our worries and concerns', and contains the meaning of enjoying life together and moving forward confidently to those who are tired of the busy modern society. The unique combination of trendy reggaeton sounds, classical, and traditional Korean music such as samulnori and haegeum shows the essence of music that only Krezzle can create.


The second song, 'Mang-u-ga (望又歌)', is a song full of longing and sorrow for a love that cannot be fulfilled. This song, based on Im Je's poetry, has impressive lyrics that make you think again about love and the essence of humanity. This song was written and composed by music director Kwon Tae-eun, who has consistently created Korean traditional music/classical crossover songs such as Monggeumpo Taryeong and Sangju Arirang, and singer Kim Su-in. It is considered one of the songs that contains the most Korean sentiment of Han among the Korean traditional music crossover songs released so far. In particular, the chorus of Krezzle that rushes in the latter half leaves a deep impression on the listener.

The last song, 'Faded Letter', is a song about taking out a letter filled with memories from an ex-lover after many years and seeing that the letter, which was once full of expressions of love, has now turned into words of apologies, and belatedly regretting one's negligence, but accepting the breakup and resigning oneself to the current situation where it is already too late. This song was written and composed by Lee Seung-min, a member of Krezzle.
Meanwhile, CREZL, consisting of idol Jo Jin-ho, musical actor Lim Gyu-hyung, singer Kim Su-in, and vocalist Lee Seung-min, is a group that combines the word "creative" and "jjul" to create a unique and colorful music genre with the unique charms of the four members.

이번 신보는 크레즐이 데뷔 이후 발매한 미니앨범 'CRE: 㘉'에 이어 2025년은 새로운 앨범으로 활동을 재개할 예정이다. 타이틀곡 'HAKUNA MATATA'와 '망우가(望又歌)' 그리고 작년 10월 발매한 디지털 싱글 '늦편지(Faded Letter)까지 총 3곡의 곡들로 채워졌다.

특히 이번 앨범은 크레즐의 멤버들이 직접 작사/작곡을 맡았으며 크로스오버 음악의 대가 권태은 음악감독의 총괄 프로듀싱까지 더하여 발매 전부터 팬들의 기대를 한 몸에 받고 있다.

타이틀 곡 'HAKUNA MATATA' 는 멤버 조진호가 직접 작사/작곡을 맡아 프로듀싱 하였으며, 한층 더 업그레이드된 크로스오버 곡을 탄생시켰다. 이 곡은 제목처럼 '문제없다', '근심 걱정 모두 떨쳐버려'라는 뜻으로 바쁜 현대사회에 지친 이들에게 함께 인생을 즐기며 당차게 나아가자는 의미를 담고 있다. 트랜디한 레게토닉 사운드와 클래식, 사물놀이 해금 등 국악 소리까지 더해진 유니크한 조합이 크레즐만이 할 수 있는 음악의 정수가 무엇인지 들려준다.


두 번째 곡인 '망우가(望又歌)'는 이루어질 수 없는 사랑에 대한 그리움과 한이 서린 곡이다. 임제의 시를 바탕 으로 구성된 이 곡은 사랑과 인간의 본질에 대해 다시한번 생각하게 만드는 가사가 인상적이다. 이번 곡은 몽금포타령, 상주아리랑 등 국악/클래식 크로스오버 곡을 꾸준히 만들어온 권태은 음악감독과 소리꾼 김수인이 함께 작사, 작곡을 하였으며 그동안 발매된 국악 크로스오버 곡 중 가장 한국적인 한의 정서가 담긴 곡으로 손꼽히고 있다. 특히 후반부에 몰아치는 크레즐의 합창 부분은 듣는이에게 진한 여운을 남겨준다.

마지막 곡 '늦편지(Faded Letter)'는 헤어진 연인과의 추억이 담긴 편지를 오랜 세월이 지나 꺼내어 보니 사랑이 란 표현이 가득했던 편지가 어느새 미안하다는 말로 변해 있는 것을 보며 소홀했던 자신을 뒤늦게 후회해 보지 만 이미 늦어버린 현재 상황에 체념하며 이별을 받아들임을 표현한 곡이다. 크레즐의 멤버 이승민이 직접 작사,작곡한 곡이다.
한편 크레즐은 아이돌 조진호, 뮤지컬배우 임규형, 소리꾼 김수인 그리고 성악가 이승민으로 구성된 CREZL (크레즐)은 창의적이라는 뜻의 'creative'의 크레와 '즐겁다'의 즐을 합해 만든 이름으로, 4인 4색의 색다르고 다채로운 매력이 모여 한계 없는 다양한 장르의 음악을 선보이고 있는 그룹이다.
