DAWN is back with a new EP ALBUM [Narcissus].

This album contains a total of 8 tracks and is composed of a variety of songs, ranging from a calm R&B/ballad following 'To You Shining' released last April to pop music featuring Dawn's spectacular performance. The first title song, 'Star (Feat. 10CM)', is a song where Dawn's voice stands out over a calm piano performance and heightened string sound. In particular, Sunwoo Jung-ah participated in writing the lyrics and 10CM participated in featuring, making the song even more emotional. The second title song, 'Heart', is an attractive track with gorgeous synths and addictive drum sounds, expressing the pain after a breakup, and focusing on performance with a pop mood.

[Narcissus], which improved its perfection through the collaboration of talented musicians, has Groovy Room, Guaca, LEEZ, and BOYCOLD participating in the composition, 10CM, pH-1, GEMINI, and Kim Sa-wol as featuring, and Yoon Deok-won of Broccoliner as the lyricist. , Cosmic Girls' Exy, and rapper Illineet participated, completing a variety of tracks that crossed genres such as indie, hip-hop, dance, and R&B.

The album name 'Narcissus' is inspired by the story of Narcissus in Greek and Roman mythology, who falls in love with his own reflection in water. Just as Narcissus fell in love when he saw his own reflection in the water, he compares himself to judging others, falling in love, and loving them as if they were one, conveying the meaning that it is like loving another self.

Dawn, who was reborn as a perfect solo artist this year, can see her thoughts on love through [Narcissus].

던 (DAWN)이 새로운 EP ALBUM [Narcissus (나르시스)]로 돌아왔다.

이번 앨범은 총 8트랙이 수록되었으며 지난 4월 발매된 '빛이 나는 너에게'를 잇는 잔잔한 R&B/발라드부터 던의 화려한 퍼포먼스가 돋보이는 팝한 음악까지 다채롭게 구성되어 있다. 첫 번째 타이틀곡 'Star (Feat. 10CM)'는 잔잔한 피아노 연주와 고조되는 스트링 사운드 위에 던의 음색이 돋보이는 곡이다. 특히 작사에 선우정아, 피처링에 10CM가 참여하여 더욱 짙은 감성을 담았다. 두 번째 타이틀곡 'Heart'는 화려한 신스와 중독성 있는 드럼 사운드가 매력적인 트랙으로 이별 뒤 아픔을 표현하였으며, 팝적인 무드로 퍼포먼스에 중점을 두었다.

실력파 뮤지션들의 협업으로 완성도를 높인 [Narcissus (나르시스)]는 작곡에 그루비룸, 과카, LEEZ, BOYCOLD가 참여, 피처링에는 10CM를 비롯하여 pH-1, GEMINI, 김사월이 함께 하였고 작사에 브로콜리너마저의 윤덕원, 우주소녀 엑시, 래퍼 일리닛이 참여함으로써 인디, 힙합, 댄스, R&B 등 장르를 넘나드는 다채로운 트랙들을 완성했다.

앨범명 'Narcissus (나르시스)'는 그리스 로마 신화 속 나르키소스가 물에 비친 자신의 모습과 사랑에 빠지는 이야기에서 착안했다. 나르키소스가 물에 비친 자신의 모습을 보며 사랑에 빠지듯, 나를 빗대어 타인을 판단하고 사랑에 빠져 마치 하나가 된 것처럼 사랑하는 사람들의 모습이 마치 또 다른 자기 자신을 사랑하는 것과 같다는 의미를 담아내었다.

올해 완벽한 솔로 아티스트로 거듭난 던, 던이 생각하는 사랑은 [Narcissus (나르시스)]를 통해 확인해 볼 수 있다.
