The final piece of DickPunks' (DPNS) EP trilogy series, "Spectra: B", is now complete, finally completing "Spectra: RGB".

When a ray of light passes through a prism, colors that were previously invisible to the eye are revealed.
'Spectra: RGB' is an album that, like light, breaks down the emotions hidden within us by passing them through the prism of music.

It's not just a list of colors. It's three archetypes of emotions that we face every day.
These primary colors of emotion were captured in music and arranged according to different endings.
This album, which was created in this way, does not have a single direction, but rather, like light refracting and spreading out into various colors, each track asks a different question, comforts with a different temperature, and resonates in a different way.


01. Light Up
Starting with an intro of intense synthesizer signals, the sound of drums, bass, keyboard, guitar, and vocals organically blending together while each displaying their own distinct personalities.
The first track is impressive with its musical wordplay that unfolds above.

A moment when you can no longer hide your surging emotions.
It conveys the desire to pour out all of one's excitement and passion.

02. Flashback
The retro texture of the Rhodes EP and the mood created by the electric guitar sound are combined with a calm rhythm section to bring out a hazy and sophisticated urban sentiment.

Emotions left behind in time that cannot be returned to.
I quietly look back on the regrets and longings of those days.

03. Below the stars
A retro number that reinterprets the music hall style with DickPunks' own sensibility, the vintage Hoffner bass and rough drums gently create a sense of the times.
The piano and vintage guitar melodies placed differently on the left and right come together to create a rich, three-dimensional sound.
The hushed vocals and witty chorus breathe life and personality into the song, almost like a play.

A splendid moment of discovering each other's existence on a starry night.
I want to carefully convey the emotions that bloom from the depths of my heart.

04. Rainbow
The vintage-tone guitar leads the song's beginning with a lyrical melody, gently unfolding a hazy atmosphere.
The warm electric piano that appears next fills the song with emotion with a harmony that is reminiscent of the 70s and 80s.
Emotional vocals permeate the round, flowing bass, loose drums, and analog-style strings, leaving a deep aftertaste.

To those who are tired of chasing their dreams, I would like to offer warm encouragement to not give up even at the end of a winding and blocked road.

05. Ignite Us
A sophisticated track with a mix of retro synths, repetitive guitar riffs, and creative bass lines.
Energetic vocals drive the song forward along with powerful drums, adding strength to the flow.
Each instrument interlocks organically, creating an impressive sound that harmonizes the texture of the times with a modern sensibility.

Even amidst blurred names and faded times, there are songs that never go out.
I want to embrace the light again and move forward.

딕펑스(DPNS) EP 3부작 시리즈의 마지막 조각 “Spectra : B”가 채워지며, 마침내 "Spectra : RGB"가 완성되었다.

한 줄기 빛이 프리즘을 통과하면, 눈에 보이지 않던 색이 드러난다.
'Spectra : RGB'는 그 빛처럼, 우리 안에 숨어있는 감정들을 음악이라는 프리즘에 통과시켜 분해한 앨범이다.

단순한 색의 나열이 아니다. 우리가 매일 마주하는 감정의 세가지 원형이다.
이 감정의 원색들을 음악 안에 담고, 각기 다른 결에 따라 배열했다.
그렇게 만들어진 이 앨범은 하나의 방향성을 가지지 않고, 오히려 빛이 굴절되어 여러 색으로 퍼지듯 각 트랙은 저마다 다른 질문을 던지고, 다른 온도로 위로하며, 다른 방식으로 공명한다.


01. Light Up
강렬한 신디사이저 시그널의 인트로를 시작으로 드럼, 베이스, 건반, 기타, 보컬이 각기 뚜렷한 개성을 드러내며 유기적으로 어우러지는 사운드,
그 위에 펼쳐지는 음악적 언어유희가 인상적인 첫번째 트랙.

벅차오르는 마음을 더는 숨길 수 없는 순간.
설렘과 뜨거운 감정을 한껏 쏟아내고 싶은 마음을 건넨다.

02. Flashback
레트로한 질감의 Rhodes EP와 일렉트릭 기타 사운드로 만들어진 무드에 차분한 리듬 섹션이 더해져 아련하고 세련된 도시의 정서를 이끌어낸다.

돌아갈 수 없는 시간 속에 남겨진 감정들.
그 시절의 후회와 그리움을 조용히 꺼내어 바라본다.

03. Below the stars
뮤직 홀 스타일을 딕펑스만의 감성으로 재해석한 레트로 넘버로, 빈티지한 호프너 베이스와 러프한 드럼이 시대감을 부드럽게 무들인다.
좌우에 다르게 배치된 피아노와 빈티지 기타 선율이 어우러져 풍성하고 입체적인 사운드를 만들어낸다.
말하듯 읊조리는 보컬과 위트 있는 코러스는 마치 연극처럼 곡에 생동감과 개성을 불어넣는다.

별이 쏟아지는 밤, 서로의 존재를 발견하는 찬란한 순간.
마음 깊은 곳에서 피어나는 감정을 조심스레 전하고자 한다.

04. 무지개
빈티지 톤의 기타가 서정적인 선율로 곡의 시작을 이끌며, 아련한 분위기를 은은히 펼쳐낸다.
뒤이어 등장하는 따뜻한 일렉트릭 피아노는 70~80년대 감수성을 머금은 화성으로 정서를 채워 넣는다.
둥글게 흐르는 베이스와 루즈한 드럼, 아날로그풍 스트링 위로 감성적인 보컬이 스며들며 진한 여운을 남긴다.

꿈을 좇다 지친 이들에게, 굽고 막힌 길 끝에서도 포기하지 말라는 따뜻한 응원을 건네보고자 한다.
