뇌간을 찌르는 알람소리에 천근같은 몸뚱이를 일으켜본다. B의 어제와 다를 것 없는 하루의 시작은 찌푸려진 미간의 굴곡만큼 울퉁불퉁하다. 생판 모르는 누군가와 어쩔 수 없이 살을 맞대야 하는 구역질나는 지하철이라던가 상사의 잔소리, 아니 모든 찰나의 삶 그 사이사이가 다 고통일 것이다. (파괴왕) 한때는 밴드가 꿈이었다. '베스파를 타고 전국일주를 하며 버스킹을 하리라. ' 쓰리코드와 모히컨 헤어만 있으면 무서울 것 없던 나날이었다. (인생 GCD) 하지만 현실은 오늘의 숙취만큼이나 쓰렸다. '셋을 세면 이 꿈에서 깨어날 거야 하나... 둘...' 제기랄. 바퀴벌레가 90도로 배꼽인사를 해도 어색하지 않을 방구석 풍경 그대로다. 락스타로 살고있을 제8지구를 떠올려본다. 희미하게 웃음이 새어나왔지만 도무지 속이 나아지질 않는다. 좋은 글은 쉽게 읽힌다. 내 음악이 그랬으면 한다. 명료한 문장 안에서 사유가 춤을 추는 노래이고 싶다. 아직은 몽상가에 머물러 있는 처지인지라 쉽게 씌어진 노래는 부끄러워서 생각이 많아진 앨범이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이 노래들이 어느 누군가의 또 다른 이야기로 자라나길 바라며 곡들을 엮어냈다. 어딘가 고장나버린, 아니면 그마저도 버거워 숨어버린 너에게 바칩니다. 우리 함께 살아보자.
내 영원한 노스텔지어의 끝판왕인 그 여름 대성놀이터는 과연 Visible World 였을까?
