Harmonize's 1st mini album 'Be Myself' honestly and cheerfully conveys the message, "In the end, what we need most in life is 'to protect myself'" in five songs. Producer Oh Jang-seok, who founded Harmonize and has led it directly for the past 11 years, wrote, composed, and produced all the songs in this album, and created a genre called 'Show Choir' that can be seen as the most modern and evolved choral sound. Through the performance, passion, joy, and sometimes profound, sweet, and lively harmony are presented.

From the first track 'Truly I Look To You', which has a world music style reminiscent of Irish and African music, to 'Bloom, My Love', which is a perfect combination of marching rhythm and enterprising lyrics, to the title song 'Breather', which is an attractive combination of swing and Latin, Motown From 'I'll Always Be There', which is reminiscent of R&B, to 'I Just Needed Time', which stands out for its exquisite harmony between magnificent orchestration and chorus, Harmonize's exclusive patented song blends in with the ever-changing variety of POP music. 04. I'll Always Be There
From some point on, the two letters ‘green’ made me feel at ease and excited for no reason. And then I made a promise. 'I wish we could always be each other's arms full of green. So that I can take a break once in a while!'

05. I just needed time
I wrote this song during the long COVID-19 period. ‘I just needed time’ is what Harmonize wants to say to themselves. “All we need is time. If we are given more time, we will be able to shout this song to the world.” It has been four years of enduring and believing.

하모나이즈의 미니 1집 'Be Myself'는 <살아가는 가운데 결국 우리에게 가장 필요한 것은 '나 자신을 스스로 지켜 나가는 것'이었다>는 메시지를 다섯 노래 속에 진솔하고 경쾌하게 담아냈다. 하모나이즈를 창단하고 지난 11년간 직접 진두지휘해 온 오장석 프로듀서가 이번 앨범의 전곡을 작사, 작곡, 프로듀싱했으며, 가장 현대적으로 진화된 합창 사운드로 볼 수 있는 'Show Choir(쇼 콰이어)' 라는 장르를 통해 퍼포먼스 속에 열정과 유쾌함, 그리고 때론 그윽하고 감미로우며 생동감이 살아 숨 쉬는 하모니를 선보인다.

삶이란 때론 타오르는 불꽃처럼 피어나야만 해요. 그리곤 전장을 향해 가는 군대처럼 나아가야 하죠. 결코 쉽지 않은 여정이지만 우린 부딪쳐 봐야만 합니다. Live your life! You guys ready?

03. Breather
열심히 살아본 사람들이라면 공감할 겁니다. 때론 시간이 스스로 해결해 주기도 하더라고요. 가끔은 뭘 그리 아등바등했을까 싶을 때가 있죠. 자, 이제는 그만. 우리 같이 숨 한번 고르자고요!

04. I'll Always Be There
언젠가부터 '초록'이라는 두 글자에 괜히 마음이 편하기도, 설레기도 하더라고요. 그러면서 다짐해 보았습니다. '우리가 서로에게 늘 초록이 가득한 품이 되어준다면 좋겠어. 한 번씩 쉬어갈 수 있게 말야!'

05. 시간이 필요했을 뿐이란 걸
길었던 COVID-19 기간 동안 이 곡을 쓰게 됐어요. '시간이 필요했을 뿐이란 걸'은 하모나이즈 스스로에게 하고 싶은 얘기에요. "우리에게 필요한 건 단지 시간일 뿐이야. 만약 시간이 좀 더 허락된다면 세상에 이 노래를 외칠 수 있을 거야"라고 믿고 또 믿으며 견디고 지내온 4년이라는 시간.
우리는 마침내 이 노래를 세상에 선보일 수 있게 되었습니다.
