Jennie's first full-length solo album, "Ruby," showcases Jennie's diverse musical talents and charm, showcasing her unique style. Through songs of various genres and concepts, the album aims to showcase Jennie's musical potential as a solo artist.

The concept for the album began with the line 'All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.' from Shakespeare's comedy 'As you like it', which gives insight into JENNIE's diversity as she plays musical characters suited to each field and genre.

The album title, "Ruby," is taken from Jennie's middle name and was intended to clearly express her unique style. Since the album's concept originated from a play, the red curtain symbolizes the opening of each act, signaling a new beginning.

This album <Ruby> consists of a total of 15 songs and is a collaboration with world-class artists such as British pop star Dua Lipa, Donald Glover's musical alter ego Childish Gambino, rappers Doechii and Dominic Fike, French musician FKJ, and singer-songwriter Kali Uchis.
