I started this album with the word “pieces,” looking back at the sketches of thoughts that I had been collecting one by one for a long time, and the emotions that seemed to be swirling like I couldn’t remember.

The empty spaces are filled with Kevin Oh's stories and music, which contain fragments of various memories and emotions that have lingered for a long time and sometimes passed by briefly.

From acoustic country folk to synthpop, Kevin Oh's first full-length album [Pieces of _] is the process itself of collecting and adding the pieces of sound that make up the music world that Kevin Oh will unfold in the future.

오랜 시간 동안 하나씩 모아 두었던 생각의 스케치들, 기억날 듯 말 듯 일렁이는 감정들을 다시 들여다보며, 이번 앨범을 “pieces”라는 단어와 함께 시작하게 되었다.

빈칸은 오래 머물렀던, 때로는 잠시 스쳐 지나갔던 다양한 기억과 감정의 조각들을 담은 케빈오의 이야기와 음악으로 채워진다.

어쿠스틱 컨트리 포크를 바탕으로 신스팝까지 케빈오의 첫번째 정규 앨범 [Pieces of _]는 케빈오가 앞으로 펼쳐 나갈 음악 세계를 구성하는 소리의 조각들을 하나씩 모으고 더해 나가는 과정 그 자체이다.
