Kihyun's [BORDERLINE] is an album that moves forward, trusting in his own instincts and choices. Between hazy certainty and clear choice, between familiar anxiety and newly opened freedom. This album captures the moments when Kihyun, standing on that boundary, eventually grasps his own rhythm. Therefore, while it is a record of wandering, it also sounds like a record of the present, now clearer after passing through that time.

If his first EP [YOUTH] was an album looking back on his purest days and the emotions within them, [BORDERLINE] sees the current Kihyun step more directly into the center of the questions surrounding him. Rather than tracing memories of youth, it is closer to him creating his own path on a road without answers. In the process, the rock-centered sound has expanded significantly, and Kihyun's vocals oscillate between refreshingness and explosiveness, as well as delicacy and directness, revealing his current style more clearly.
