조동익 밴드가 연주한 3집은 연주곡 <序. 자장가>로 시작해 <結. 자장가>로 끝난다.
자장가로 정체성을 드러냈듯 사람들에게 편안한 휴식을 안겨주는 노래들로 구성했다.

앨범에 수록한 총 10곡은 한동헌, 한돌, 유준열, 한동준 등 포크 뮤지션과 김광석이 몸담았던 포크 그룹 동물원 동료의 곡들로 구성했다.
