Kim Sung-kyu's sixth mini-album, [OFF THE MAP], delivers a deep musical color and a heartfelt message.

This album is a solo album released about 2 years and 8 months after the fifth mini-album [2023 S/S Collection].
This album, which showcases Kim Sunggyu's unique and unparalleled sensibility, will also serve as another starting point, depicting the artist's current state with his own direction and subjective choices.

In particular, this album [OFF THE MAP] was produced by Kim Jong-wan of Nell, who has been with Kim Sung-kyu on his long musical journey since the beginning of his 'music' career, and he also gifted one of the songs on the album. The rest of the songs are filled with songs he worked on with the band members who have been his strong support and musical companions while performing with him in concerts and other overall performances, doubling the anticipation and immersion.

This album also shows Kim Sung-kyu's growing capabilities as a singer-songwriter, as he has shown his artistic side by participating in every corner of the album so far.
Kim Sung-kyu participated in writing the lyrics and composition of the track 'Over It', writing the lyrics of 'Dreaming' and 'Drawing', and the overall chorus of the song.

지난 다섯 번째 미니앨범 [2023 S/S Collection] 이후 약 2년 8개월 만의 솔로 앨범인 이번 앨범은
김성규 특유의 독보적인 감성을 보여줌과 동시에 또 다른 시작점이 될 앨범으로, 자신만의 방향과 주체적으로 선택한 아티스트의 현재를 그려내었다.

특히 이번 앨범 [OFF THE MAP]은 김성규 '음악'의 시작과 함께 오랜 음악 여정을 함께한 넬의 김종완이 프로듀싱을 맡음과 동시에 수록곡 또한 한 곡을 선물하였으며, 콘서트를 비롯한 전반적인 공연을 함께 해오면서 든든한 버팀목이자 음악적 동반자가 된 밴드 멤버들과 작업한 곡들로 나머지 수록곡들이 채워져 기대감과 몰입도를 배가시켰다.
