01 Escape velocity

The speed at which we can escape the influence of Earth's gravity is 11.2 km/s. How much speed do we need to reach you? Everyone has things that block them from moving forward. Now that we've cut off all the difficult memories, wounds, and pain and are running to you, we've finally reached the escape velocity.

'Escape Velocity', which starts with a rushing guitar riff in the intro, is a J-ROCK style song that is attractive in that you can hear everything from Gyeongseo's hazy voice to her explosive high notes.

What is love?

Love comes one day out of the blue and turns 'ordinary me' into 'special us'.
Even time, which used to flow honestly, claims to be fast or slow relative to you when you are with me. The title song, 'I've been thinking about what to say all night' is a message of youth that contains the courage to gladly welcome the love that comes to us unexpectedly, even though we don't know the answer, and a confession to create a story like a movie.

The song features a clear introduction, development, climax, and conclusion, with Gyeongseo's refreshing voice added to the gradually building band sound as the story develops, giving listeners a thrilling sense of love.

"What Do You Call Me" is a city pop sound representing Japan's 8090. Producers XENOVIBE, Analog Radio, and Jang Mi-hyeon sampled KANA's Bell sound, adding a sophisticated sound and Gyeongseo's attractive vocal color, making it a song that feels like a bright morning scenery of Seoul and a sound full of excitement, rather than a city pop sound representing the city's night streets.

The familiar groove and catchy simple melody seen in existing city pop are intertwined, making Gyeongseo's attempt at a new genre stand out.

지구 중력의 영향을 벗어나 지구를 탈출할 수 있는 속도 초속 11.2km. 너에게 도달하기 위해서는 얼마나의 속도가 필요할까. 누구에게나 앞으로 나아가는 것을 방해하는 것들이 있다. 힘들었던 기억, 상처, 아픔 모든 것을 끊어내고 너에게로 달려가는 지금 우리는 탈출속도에 결국 도달한다.

인트로의 달려가는 듯한 기타 리프로 시작하는 '탈출속도'는 J-ROCK 스타일의 곡으로 경서의 아련한 보이스부터 폭발적인 고음까지도 함께 들을 수 있는 매력적인 노래다.

사랑이란 뭘까?

사랑은 어느 날 불쑥 찾아와 '평범했던 나'를 '특별한 우리'로 바꾸어 놓는다.
정직하게 흐르던 시간조차 너와 있을 땐 빠르게, 또는 느리게 상대적인 속도를 자처한다. 타이틀곡 '밤새도록 어떤 말을 할까 고민해 봤어'는 정답을 알 수는 없지만 우리에게 불쑥 찾아온 사랑을 기꺼이 맞이하겠다는 용기. 한편의 영화 같은 이야기를 만들어 보겠다는 고백이 담긴 청춘의 메시지이다.

이야기의 발전에 맞추어 점차 빌드업 되는 밴드 사운드에 경서의 청량한 목소리가 더해져 확실한 기승전결이 돋보이는 곡으로 듣는 이에게 사랑의 박진감과 전율을 선사한다.
