[The Classic] is an album composed of ballad songs with a classic sensibility. The lyrical yet flowing melody, relatable lyrics, and KYUHYUN's dense emotional expression and sweet voice come together to convey the original aesthetics of the 'ballad' genre.

This album contains a total of five love stories, including 'Nap', which swallows longing at the face that suddenly comes to mind, 'Like the First Snow', a winter-themed title song that depicts the pain of a bittersweet separation, 'Goodbye, My Friend', which says goodbye to a love that is quietly fading away alone, 'Living in Memories', which meticulously depicts the traces clearly engraved in every place love has passed, and 'Compass', which contains the overwhelming hearts that eventually reach out to each other.
