'Living Legend' producer Lee Hyeon-do (DO) and veteran rapper Deepflow have released a joint album [Dry Season].
This album, which was completed with a total of nine tracks, started in a very dry winter early this year, is Lee Hyun-do's sound, which actively borrows the sounds of 'Neo Boom Bap' and 'Drumless', which are the representative trends of the New York underground hip-hop scene. The production transformation is the first thing that stands out. In this [Dry Season], he presents the most hardcore hip-hop sound of his career based on experimental writing methods and rough textured sample sources. Deepflow's rap added a story to the album. The story of 'thirst' was solved as the overall theme of the album, and it was spit out in a unique monotone with a solidly designed rhyme. 올해 초, 무척 건조했던 겨울에 작업을 착수하여 총 아홉 곡의 트랙으로 완성된 이번 앨범은, 최근 뉴욕 언더그라운드 힙합 신의 대표 경향인 '네오 붐뱁', '드럼 리스' 사운드를 적극적으로 차용한 이현도의 프로듀싱 변신이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 이번 [Dry Season]에서 그는 실험적인 작법과 거친 질감의 샘플 소스들을 바탕으로 커리어 중 가장 하드코어 한 힙합 사운드를 들려준다. 딥플로우의 랩은 앨범에 이야기를 더했다.
