This achievement demonstrated the public's preference for the content and quality of the music contained within the album over its price. This album sparked a major shift in the music industry's perception of pop albums, which had been undervalued and priced lower than foreign pop albums.

It also provided a revolutionary turning point in the broadcasting industry.
The album's continued success propelled Lee Moon-sae to the top, winning the Golden Disk Award for three consecutive years, starting in 1986, and the MBC Top 10 Singer Award for two consecutive years, in 1988 and 1989. Composer Lee Young-hoon was also recognized as a top hit composer, sought after by every singer of the time. The high-quality pop ballads they presented also brought about a seismic shift in radio music programming at the time. The era of long-running pop song programs ended, leading to the massive influx of music programs.
