The title of this album was said to have been decided by recalling the Chinese character 如反掌, which means “as easy as turning over one’s palm.” It means that if you break stereotypes, crossing musical genres is not as difficult as you think. Also, what is easy for me may be extremely difficult for someone else, and conversely, what is difficult for me may be too easy for someone else, so I participated in the production while reflecting even more on things that I usually thought were easy.

As a singer-songwriter, his steps have become more flexible after the single albums 'A Good Day', 'Youth Praise', and 'The Road Home'. He has not stopped his efforts to expand his musical spectrum with various producers, and the result is this mini-album. It is full of songs that you would not expect if you think about his days as a national singer. It is diverse, from R&B-based ballads to jazz, and this is not because he intended to show off his various charms, but because he has turned over his palm and included things that are easy for him and difficult for others, and vice versa. The album cover, which contains the humorous expression of Lee Solomon, who is currently 1 year old, stands out, and this album is said to contain the contents of his daily life in the form of practice, like a diary, and they contain one message, namely, the theme of 'comfort'.

Starting with 'Mongjung' (夢中), 'Youth Praise', which was reinterpreted with the original author, opens the door. In the previous digital single version, the voice screaming "Save me" in the latter half of the song was impressive, but in this version, the piano, not the voice, gradually increases the crescendo, which is quite unconventional. 'Honest is a fool', a rock genre that contains the true feelings, is arranged by the bandmaster Joker, and you can also see his side as a rocker. 이번 앨범의 제목은 “손바닥을 뒤집듯 쉽다”는 의미를 가진 한자어 여반장(如反掌)을 떠올리며 정했다고 한다. 고정관념을 깨면 음악의 장르를 넘나드는 것은 생각보다는 어렵지 않은 일이라는 의미다. 또한 나에게는 쉬운 일이 누군가에게는 굉장히 어려운 일일 수 있고, 반대로 나에게 어려운 일이 누군가에게는 너무 쉬운 일일 수도 있기에 평소 쉽게 생각했던 일들을 더욱 반추(反芻)하며 제작에 참여했다.

싱어송라이터로서의 행보는 싱글 앨범 '괜찮은 날', '청춘예찬', '퇴근길'을 거치면서 더욱 유연해졌다. 다양한 프로듀서들과 함께 음악적 스펙트럼을 넓히는 노력을 멈추지 않았고, 그 결과물이 바로 이번 미니 앨범이다. 국민가수 때를 생각하면 예상할 수 없는 곡들로 빼곡하다. R&B 기반의 발라드 곡부터 재즈까지 다양한데, 이는 다양한 매력을 보여줄 의도가 아니라 위에서 언급한 본인에게는 쉽고 남들에게는 어려운 것, 그리고 그 반대의 것들을 손바닥을 뒤집듯 담았기 때문이다. 요즘 나이로 1살 이솔로몬의 익살스러운 표정이 담긴 앨범 커버가 눈에 띄는데, 이번 앨범은 일기처럼 그의 일상에 관한 내용들을 습작의 형태로 담아냈다고 하며, 그것들은 하나의 메시지, 즉 '위로'라는 주제를 담고 있다.

'몽중'(夢中)을 시작으로 원작자와 함께 재해석한 '청춘예찬'이 포문을 연다. 기존 디지털 싱글 버전에서는 곡의 후반부에 “나를 구원해 줘”라고 절규하는 목소리가 인상적이었다면, 이번 버전에서는 목소리가 아닌 피아노가 점점 강하게 고조시키는 크레센도(Crescendo)로 끝나는 것이 굉장히 파격적이다. 속마음을 가감 없이 담아낸 록 장르의 '솔직한 건 바보야'는 공연 밴드 마스터인 조커의 편곡으로 록커로서의 모습도 엿볼 수 있으며, 타이틀곡 '그렇게 잘 울지도 않던 당신이'는 R&B 기반의 발라드로 힘든 시기의 자신을 되돌아보며 용기를 서서히 찾아가는 과정을 그렸다. 이 곡의 배경은 '서울'인데 당시 느꼈던 감정이 장소가 바뀌어도 동일할까라는 의문이 들어 뮤직비디오를 '도쿄'에서 촬영했다고 한다. 캐치볼을 주고받듯 재지 한 피아노와 목소리가 어우러진 '퇴근길', 아직 꿈에서 깨지 못한 채 안녕을 노래하는 '말 좋게 합시다'로 마치면서 처음과 끝이 여전히 꿈속임을 암시했다.
