Singer Kim Dong-hyun participated in the title song of this album, 'Your Name'. Singer Kim Dong-hyun is a talented emotional vocalist who won runner-up in an audition program called 'Tomorrow is a National Singer' on TV Chosun, a popular program with an audience rating of 18%. 마르보 프로젝트는 힘들고 아픈 상황에 놓여 있는 사람들에게 위로와 희망의 메시지를 담은 피아노 앨범이다. 이번 앨범은 제한적인 여건에서도 피아노와 보컬만으로 완성도 있는 공연을 할 수 있도록 기획하였고, 마르보 프로젝트의 음악을 진정성 있게 전달하기 위해서 실력 있는 아티스트들과 협업하였다.

이번 앨범의 타이틀곡인 '너의 이름'은 가수 김동현이 참여하였다. 가수 김동현은 시청률 18%의 인기 프로그램, TV조선 '내일은 국민가수'라는 오디션 프로그램에서 준우승을 한 실력파 감성 보컬이다. 프로그램 첫 출연부터 한국의 샘 스미스라는 극찬을 받을 정도로 가창력을 인정 받았고, 특히 그의 맑고 청아한 목소리는 노래를 듣는 리스너를 감동시키기에 충분하다. 숯불 총각에서 국민가수가 되는 과정을 통해서 '힘들 때, 내 옆에 있어준 당신의 이름을 기억하겠다'는 의미를 담은 마르보 프로젝트의 타이틀곡 '너의 이름'이라는 곡의 의미와도 잘 맞는다. 숯을 피우면서도 버스킹, 오디션 실패 등 포기하지 않고 도전하는, 가수 김동현의 목소리를 통해서 삶에 지쳐있는 분들에게 위로가 되길 바란다.

또 다른 신곡 '그라데이션'과 '지나간 여름보다 겨울'은 피아니스트 안소현이 작곡한 곡으로서 '지나간 시간에 갇혀 있기 보다는 지금보다 더 선명하고 설렘이 있는 삶을 살기 위해 노력하자'는 의미를 담은 피아노 연주곡이다. 작곡가이자, 피아니스트인 안소현은 작년, 마르보 레코드를 통해서 '푸르른'과 'Hot spring' 2개의 앨범을 발매했고, 그때의 인연으로 그의 실력에 놀라서 이번 마르보 프로젝트에 참여를 권유하여 함께 하게 되었다. 재능있고 어린 뮤지션들에게 기회를 주고자 하는 마르보 프로젝트의 취지에 맞게 이번 앨범이 피아노 앨범으로서의 완성도를 높여주었다.

또한 마르보의 색깔을 가장 잘 표현할 수 있는 기존 3곡을 트랙에 추가하였다. 가수 윤상미의 목소리와 피아니스트 전형진의 연주가 '바람아'라는 곡의 절제된 그리움을 잘 표현해주었고, '도미노'는 피아노 연주를 통해 가장 아팠던 순간의 미안함을 표현하였다. 또한 상처받을까봐 먼저 밀어내는 내 자신의 모습을 보며 안타까워 하는 외롭고 쓸쓸한 마음을 '찔레꽃'이라는 곡에 담아 피아노 연주로 표현하였다.

마르보의 일곱번째 앨범인 이번 마르보 프로젝트는 '너의 이름'을 작곡, 편곡한 윤혜진이 2022년 한국 콘텐츠 진흥원의 콘텐츠 창의인재동반사업 우수 프로젝트 사업화지원 프로젝트에 선정된 창작자로, 곡 제작은 물론 앨범, 굿즈 등 마르보 프로젝트 전반에 비주얼 콘셉트 역시 기획, 제작해 음악과 음악을 담는 패키지까지 하나로 이어내고 있다.
