Meerkat, who released the digital single 'Song after work' in 2017, has been emerging as an emerging powerhouse in the work-life balance world for a while. At the end of 2022, he appeared with his first EP [Love & Resistance].

Since the release of 'Song after work', Meerkat has been steadily resisting the world with their whole bodies in solidarity with songs in the field. Listening to the songs accumulated over the years, I realized that the reason I resisted so much was because of love.

퇴근을 외치던 미어캣, 5년 만에 사랑과 저항의 힘으로 컴백!

2017년 디지털 싱글 '퇴근송'을 발매하고 한동안 워라밸계의 신흥 강자로 떠오르던 미어캣. 2022년 끝자락에 첫 번째 EP [Love&Resistance]를 들고 나타났다.

'퇴근송' 발매 이후 미어캣은 꾸준히 현장에서 노래로 연대하며 온몸으로 세상에 저항해왔다. 그동안 쌓인 노래들을 들으며, 이토록 저항하는 이유가 사랑 때문이라는 것을 깨달았다.

너를 위해, 우리가 살아가는 오늘의 세상을 위해 우쿨렐레를 치며 사랑의 힘으로 연대하고 저항하자!

"나는 미어캣의 노래를 주로 투쟁 현장에서 들었다.
우쿨렐레를 맨 그와 함께 찬 바닥에 앉아 집에 보내달라(퇴근송)거나, 결혼해라, 애낳아라 같은 헛소리는 집어치우라며(미덕의 아이콘) 신나게 노래했다.
그렇게 저항의 시간이 끝나고, 집에 홀로 남은 시간, 미어캣은 자신을 저항하게 하는 사랑에 대해서 생각했을 것이다.
