Mint Paper presents bright #11

Since 2007, Mint Paper has been planning and presenting festivals and brand performances such as the Grand Mint Festival, Beautiful Mint Life, and Mint Festa, project albums with unique plans, and various music and cultural contents. [bright] is a new project started by Mint Paper in 2013, and is a series of albums that contain songs selected only for their merits, regardless of the artist's reputation or career.

The future of the music market, which we have to work with, can only be sustained if there are endless new artists who create good songs and they stand out through appropriate opportunities. [bright] is Mint Paper's small effort to continue discovering and presenting songs and artists with a unique sense, and is a selection of 'Mint Paper' staff's senses and unique tastes.

Following the album artwork of the past 10 years, which was loved by depicting the innocent appearance of children, from the 11th bright series, we want to depict the artist's infinite charm through new designs. Just as various flowers gather in one place and bloom beautifully, I hope that artists and songs with their own charms will gather in a space called [bright] and shine like jewels. 01. Sodong / Fluffy (feat. Van Siian)
Sodong, an alternative pop duo with a sophisticated melody line. As a new rookie in April 2022, you can hear music with a high level of perfection that you can't even imagine.
“Seungyoon has a puppy in his heart and Banxian has a puppy in his hometown. I sang about my personal memory of a dog that I couldn't touch right away, but I remember it clearly with the sense of the palm of my hand. I dedicate this song to the little angels.”

02. Voice recording (音聲錄音) / I'm sick of …
Voice recording started from simply sharing voice recordings stored on mobile phones. The groove that makes you nod your head and the timbre that catches your ears are unrivaled.
“This is a song that I made because I felt like a friend who was struggling with the world and not listening to anything, as if he were drowning in water. I think the lead synths with a presence sound and the interlude and outro that transition to reggae are attractive songs.”

03. homezone / tickle me
Homezone, a singer-songwriter with a trendy melody and a sweet voice, talks about thrilling love. The staccato playing throughout the song feels like the sound of a pounding heart.
“The love that makes you want to see it again even if you want to hide it out of shame is like an itch.”

04. Path / Horizon
The journey that appeared like a comet in the band scene in 2022. It is a song with a light and refreshing rock sound and metaphorical lyrics at its core. Listen to this song when you need strong support.
“'It'll be all right, don't worry.' What if the person who gives such light words of consolation is the future me? A new perspective, words you say to your past self. I wrote a bunch of random words, hoping to reach you back in time. 'Because a rainbow will be born from the tears I've been holding back.' Maybe a song sung by an unknown voice that lingers in our heads right now.”

05. Yewee / Suddenly
Yewe, who sings of his honest heart, gives small consolation in everyday life. It is a song with a warm melody that flows smoothly.
“Still, if I’m with you, I suddenly feel like this world is okay.”

06. JAEMAN / How are you
Jaeman, a versatile all-round player from producing to singer-songwriter. It is an attractive song with a plump flow of notes, colorful sounds, and a chorus that sounds like a whisper.

07. Heon / Meteor
Heon, who gives sincere consolation, sings a sparkling meteor. Enjoy the music of Heon, a singer-songwriter who stands out with a sweet melody and rhythm that is different from the band, and even a fresh charm.

08. FRankly / Help me

“I looked at and hoped for what was beyond every time rather than what was in front of me right now. Things that are in the place where my gaze goes emit light that I cannot help but follow even if I cannot catch them.”

01. 소동 (Sodong) / 푹신!(Fluffy) (feat. Van Siian)
세련된 멜로디 라인이 돋보이는 얼터너티브 팝 듀오 소동. 2022년 4월 새롭게 등장한 신예라고 상상하지도 못할 만큼 완성도 높은 음악을 들려줍니다.
“승윤은 마음 속에, 반시안은 고향에 각각 강아지 한 마리를 키우고 있습니다. 당장 만질 수는 없지만 손바닥의 감각으로 선명하게 기억하는 반려견에 대한 개인의 기억을 노래했어요. 복실복실 작은 천사들에게 이 노래를 바칩니다.”

02. 음성녹음 (音聲錄音) / I'm sick of …
