5인조 남자 아이돌 MUSTB의 신보, ROYALTY가 심상치 않다.
과도한 컨셉츄얼과 난해한 세계관에 피로해진 K-Pop 씬에
머스트비의 신곡 ROYALTY는 귀에 착 감기는 밝고 쉬운 멜로디와
스트레이트하고 Rocky한 사운드를 전면에 내세웠으며
당당하고 순수한 자신들의 희망과 용기를 가사에 담았다

낭만적인 톤의 피아노 아르페지오 그위에
인위적이지 않게 들려오는 도입부를 시작으로
잔잔하지만 조금씩 빌드업되어 쌓여가는 신스엘레먼트와 클린톤,드라이브톤의 기타,
심장 박동 소리를 표현하는듯한 킥사운드의 등장 이후

MUSTB 멤버들 모두가 한데 모여 많은 아이디어를 쏟아낸 것이

그중 특히 몇몇은 마치 물에 빠져 죽을것만 같은 느낌을 받는 때가 있다.
미치도록 지우고 싶지만 뇌리에 박혀 지워지지 않는,
그 기억에 의해 몰려오는 크나큰 상실감과 무력감을
물에 빠져 허우적거릴 수 도 없이
점점 깊은곳으로 가라앉는 모습에 빗대어 표현한 가사가 마음에 와닿는다

쓸쓸한 기타아르페지오 연주 위에
서정적인 멜로디라인이 자연스레 자리잡아있고
무심한 듯 시작한 감정선이 점점 더 부풀어
후렴구에서 중독성있는 Drowning 이라는 노랫말이
