ONEWE's inescapable epic maze, their fourth mini-album 'MAZE: AD ASTRA' released.
"The wandering process itself was love." The footsteps we created together, title track "MAZE" released.

ONEWE, the rising star group that has been proving themselves with their diverse musical styles, will return with their fourth mini-album 'MAZE: AD ASTRA' on October 7th.

Traces and records, we will eventually meet in a labyrinth.

'MAZE: AD ASTRA' means 'overcoming adversity and reaching the stars'.
This title song, 'MAZE', is a song that conveys the message that although the path of wandering in human relationships is like a maze, the process itself is ultimately meaningful.
This song has the feel of a fusion jazz band with the addition of a horn and brass section, and it expresses a subject matter that could easily be expressed as dark and difficult with a bright and exciting arrangement.
In particular, the dynamic performance line of the bass and guitar solo became a point that added to the song's unexpected charm.

The music video wittily compares the labyrinthine nature of relationships to the exploration of chasing a UFO. Following clues along an endless path, but constantly finding ourselves lost, mirrors the clumsy feelings we all experience.
But when scattered footprints form a single trajectory, completing a mystery circle, they realize that their wandering journey was actually the answer. Through this music video, Onewe combines kitschy imagination with sensual visuals, creating a unique storytelling experience unique to Onewe.

다채로운 음악 스타일로 스스로를 입증해 나가고 있는 신흥 대세 '믿듣밴' 원위(ONEWE)가 오는 10월 7일 네 번째 미니앨범 'MAZE : AD ASTRA'로 돌아왔다.

[흔적과 기록, 결국 이어져 만나게 될 우리는 미로]

'MAZE : AD ASTRA'는 '역경을 뚫고 별에 다다르다'라는 의미를 담고 있다.
이번 타이틀곡 '미로 (MAZE)'는 인간관계 속 헤매는 길이 마치 미로 같았지만, 결국 그 과정 자체가 의미 있었다는 메시지를 전하는 곡이다.
horn & brass 섹션이 더해져 퓨전 재즈 밴드의 감성이 느껴지는 곡으로, 자칫 어둡고 어렵게 표현될 수 있는 주제를 밝고 신나는 편곡으로 표현하였다.
특히 베이스와 기타 솔로의 다이나믹한 연주라인으로 곡의 반전 매력을 더하는 포인트가 되었다.

뮤직비디오는 마치 미로 같은 관계를, UFO를 좇는 탐험으로 빗대어 위트있게 풀어낸다. 끝없는 길에서 단서를 따라가지만, 늘 어긋나는 모습은 누구나 겪는 서툰 마음을 닮아 있다.
그러나 흩어진 발자국이 하나의 궤적을 이루며 미스터리 서클을 완성할 때, 헤매던 과정이 곧 해답이었음을 깨닫게 된다. 원위는 이번 뮤직비디오를 통해 키치한 상상력과 감각적인 영상미를 결합해, 원위만의 색다른 스토리텔링을 완성했다.
