페퍼톤스의 7번째 정규 앨범 [thousand years]는 2018년 5월 발매한 정규 6집 [Long Way] 이후 약 4년 4개월 만에 공개하는 정규 음반으로, 오랜 준비기간만큼 공들여 완성한 웰메이드 트랙들로 채워졌다.

타이틀곡 '태풍의 눈'을 비롯해 '우산', '사파리의 밤', 'coma', '어디로 가는가', '고래', 'GIVE UP' 등 총 7개 트랙이 수록되어 있으며 음원 사이트에서는 타이틀곡인 '태풍의 눈'의 Radio Edit 버전도 담겨 다양한 감상의 기회를 제공한다.
