<…이 음반은 시와 음악을 자기 목소리로 삼은 한 표현가가 조금 더 거대하고 넓은 의미의 중요한 것들에 대해 '말할 수 있는가'에 관한 실험이기도 합니다. 우려와 자기 의심이 뒤따랐지만, 말해야 한다고 느끼는 것에 끝내 입을 다문다면 자기 목소리를 가질 자격이 없다는 결론에 도달했기 때문입니다. 앞서 말했듯 나는 보통의 일개 음악가일 뿐이지만, 나의 확장이 나와 동시대를 살아가는 모든 이의 확장과 같은 뜻이라고 믿고 있습니다. 나의 표현 세계에는 대중이라는 개념이 존재하지 않고, 오직 온 마음으로 음악에 존재를 부딪혀오는 한 사람, 단 한 사람의 경청자만이 존재합니다.>
