"I wish for me to become stronger and stronger through the rain and wind" tripleS, who has been running nonstop since their debut with 'Rising', is showing a new dimension once again.

Girls with eyes that are clear and transparent, almost sparkling. +(KR)ystal Eyes is finally debuting. The waiting period that was formed by fans' votes at the end of 2022 has been filled with clear and lucid preparations and is ready to meet fans.

'AESTHETIC', which reinterprets the sensibility of Y2K with the music taste of 2023, was determined with the meaning of pursuing aesthetic visuals and music that maximize the charm of +(KR)ystal Eyes.

Now, these are groups whose names can only be found on YouTube as a sort of archive screen, but what would groups like SES or Fin.K.L. look like if they were transported back in time to another world? What kind of music would they make if their emotions were interpreted as emojis? This concept began with the imagination.

The first track, 'Cherry 100%', is the intro song to the title song 'Cherry Talk' and is filled with juicy and refreshing sounds.

The title track 'Cherry Talk' tells the story of a generation that expresses emotions faster with emojis than through conversations or text messages. While Acid Angel from Asia sings about selfies and TikTok, 'Cherry Talk' sings about Insta Stories and DMs that disappear quickly. It expresses the existentialism of teenagers, where emotions are visualized immediately but the visual images are not eternal, through music. The song, which was created under the lead of Monotree's producer Yoon Jong-seong, presents NuDance covered with RGB sounds and is charming with details in its cuteness.

The sub-track 'Touch' revives the girl group sound of the late 90s. It is a hot track unique to +(KR)ystal Eyes that will bring nostalgia to those who remember the girls of that era who lived in Y2K, and a sense of freshness to the generation that only knows that era through internet videos. Hymax, who produced tripleS' 'Colorful', has lent his strength once again.

Although expressing love directly is considered a virtue these days, there are still girls who cannot express their feelings and hide them tightly. '(Hide It) Hide&Seek' is a sugar pop song that captures the shyness and excitement of love.

TripleS's 'Rising' spin-off track 'Deja-Vu', which was called 'a real Deja-Vu, not a dream', garnered attention from the introduction of the song due to member Park So-hyun's participation in producing. Park So-hyun, who is young but has amazing potential, and Fuxxy and Anymasingga, who produced 'Beam', worked together to increase the perfection of the album. "비바람 좀 더 세게 더 강해진 내게 바래" 'Rising'까지 데뷔 직후 쉴새 없이 달려왔던 tripleS가 또 새로운 디멘션을 선보인다.

맑고 투명하다 못해 반짝이는 눈빛으로 가득한 소녀들. +(KR)ystal Eyes가 드디어 데뷔한다. 2022년 말 팬들의 투표에 의해 결성되었던 기다림의 시간들은 또렷하고 명징한 준비로 채워져 팬들을 만날 준비를 마쳤다.

Y2K의 감성을 2023년의 뮤직 테이스트로 재해석한 'AESTHETIC'은 +(KR)ystal Eyes의 매력을 극대화한 미적인 비주얼과 음악을 추구한다는 의미에서 정해졌다.

이젠 기억 저편을 넘어 유튜브의 자료화면 정도로만 찾아볼 수 있는 그룹들이지만 S.E.S.나 핑클 같은 그룹들이 지금 이세계로 타임리프한다면 어떤 모습일까? 그때의 감성들이 이모지로 해석된다면 어떤 음악이 될까? 라는 상상에서 컨셉은 시작되었다.

첫 번째 트랙 'Cherry 100%'는 타이틀 곡 'Cherry Talk'의 인트로 곡으로 과즙터지고 상큼한 사운드를 꽉 채워넣었다.

타이틀 곡 'Cherry Talk'는 대화나 문자보다 이모지 감정 표현이 더 빠른 세대의 이야기를 담았다. Acid Angel from Asia가 셀카, 틱톡을 노래하는 사이 'Cherry Talk'는 금방 사라지고 마는 인스타스토리나 DM을 노래한다. 즉각적으로 감정이 시각화되지만 그 시각적 이미지는 영원하지 않는 틴에이저의 실존주의를 음악으로 표현했다. 모노트리의 프로듀서 윤종성의 리드로 만들어진 곡은 RGB 사운드가 덥된 NuDance를 들려주며 아기자기함 속 디테일이 매력적이다.

서브트랙 'Touch'는 90년대 후반의 걸그룹 사운드를 복각했다. Y2K에 살았던 그 시절의 소녀들을 추억하고 있는 이들에게는 향수를, 그 시절을 인터넷의 영상으로만 알고 있는 세대에겐 신선함을 던져줄 수 있는 +(KR)ystal Eyes만의 핫트랙. tripleS의 'Colorful'을 프로듀싱한 Hymax가 또 다시 힘을 실었다.

요즘이 아무리 사랑을 직설적으로 표현하는 게 미덕이라지만 여전히 마음을 표현하지 못하고 꼭꼭 숨기는 소녀들도 여기에 있다. '(숨겨 봐봐) Hide&Seek'은 수줍은 마음과 사랑에 설레는 감정을 Sugar Pop에 담았다.

'꿈이 아닌 현실의 Deja-Vu'라고 불렀던 tripleS 'Rising'의 Spin-Off 트랙 'Deja-Vu'는 멤버 박소현의 프로듀싱 참여로 곡 소개부터 화제를 모았다. 경험은 어리지만 놀라운 가능성을 지닌 박소현과 'Beam'을 프로듀싱한 Fuxxy, Anymasingga가 함께 작업하며 앨범의 완성도를 높였다. 그래서 그 데자뷔 같은 꿈은 이루어진 꿈일까? 아니면 깨어버린 꿈일까? 묻는다.
