The OST of the film <Waikiki Brothers>, which was released in 2001 and left a deep impression on Korean film history, is being reborn as an LP (vinyl) for the first time in 24 years.

This LP contains the sound of the film <Waikiki Brothers>, which is considered an important milestone in Korean film music, newly remastered based on the original master.

The film "Waikiki Brothers" depicts the realities and dreams of middle-aged musicians who make a living as a local club band, and was greatly loved for its screenplay and direction by director Im Soon-rye.

Unlike traditional film scores, this film's OST features the participation of the actors—Hwang Jung-min, Ryu Seung-beom, Park Hae-il, Park Won-sang, Oh Ji-hye, and Moon Hye-won—as vocalists, accurately capturing the emotions and realism of the characters in the film. They brought the storylines they couldn't tell on screen to life through song, and this album is an extension of that legacy.

The "Waikiki Brothers OST" LP is not a simple reissue, but a record that recreates the emotions of the era with analog sound quality. Embracing the album's philosophy of expressing "small beginnings of hope even amidst the hardships of life" through music, the album was produced in black, 2LP, and 180g heavyweight versions to preserve both sound quality and analog sensibility. It also includes a gatefold jacket and a fold-out poster for the film's OST album.

1) Please understand that minor jacket wrinkles, corner crushing, cracks, etc., other than obvious defects in the product, are not eligible for return/exchange.

4) Damage to the outer packaging plastic that does not cause a problem with the product itself is not eligible for exchange/return.

※ Poor playback
1) If you are using a turntable without a tonearm or weight adjustment function (mainly all-in-one models), you may experience a skipping phenomenon when playing tracks with large dynamic sound variations. This is mostly due to the light tonearm weight.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for playback problems caused by device issues, so we recommend playing on a device with adjustable tonearms.
2) Discs may not play smoothly due to static electricity and dust. This can usually be resolved by removing it with a dedicated product.
3) If dust accumulates on the needle, playback may not be smooth.

※ Disk abnormality
1) The disc surface may be warped or warped. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.
2) Disc center holes are sometimes manufactured with a small diameter to minimize distortion in the playback range and maintain maximum consistency during repeated playback. If they do not fit the turntable spindle, the center hole can be adjusted using a dedicated product.
3) Occasionally, discs may have minor scratches or an imperfect finish. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.

2001년 개봉해 한국 영화사에 깊은 여운을 남긴 영화 <와이키키 브라더스>의 OST가 발매 24년 만에 처음으로 LP(바이닐)로 재탄생한다.

이번 LP는 한국 영화음악의 중요한 이정표로 평가받는 영화 <와이키키 브라더스>의 사운드를, 오리지널 마스터 기반으로 새롭게 리마스터링하여 수록했다.

영화 <와이키키 브라더스>는 지방 클럽 밴드로 살아가는 중년 음악가들의 현실과 꿈을 그린 작품으로, 임순례 감독의 각본과 연출로 큰 사랑을 받았다.

특히 이 영화의 OST는 기존의 영화음악과 달리 황정민, 류승범, 박해일, 박원상, 오지혜, 문혜원 등 출연 배우들이 직접 보컬리스트로 참여해 극 속 인물의 감정과 리얼리티를 그대로 옮겨낸 앨범이다. 그들은 스크린에서 다하지 못한 이야기를 노래로 완성했고, 이 음반은 그러한 연장선 위에서 만들어졌다.
