“Only living things can do the opposite. Instead of letting the flowing emotions flow as they are, stop watching and write again. The emotions that existed in me but did not exist at the same time, I name and call those nameless emotions. Nameless things give themselves names.”


Liner notes: sharp, blunt comfort in dealing with anxiety

'Writing' 1st album <Things without a name> is somewhat sharp and uncomfortable. If the activities in the past were in the category of loneliness and sorrow, this album is more cynical and nervous. The cold sounds that point out on top of the rich soundtrack heighten the sense. On top of that, the calm voice of Tsuda is put on top. His voice is still lonely and melancholy, but it warmly touches the hearts of the audience with a more mature tone, as if he has overcome some ups and downs in life. The tension of the past dissolves colorlessly.

This album, which contains 10 songs, is recommended to be listened to in one breath from the first track to the end. As you follow the album with Tsuda's breath, you become assimilated into emotions before you know it, and you feel the chaos he drew with your whole body. But never overdo it. The restrained emotion hides throughout the album and suddenly reveals its existence somewhere on the border. But the confusion is short-lived. Again, as if it was like that again, it becomes a calm face and sings about life again.

불안을 대하는 날카롭고 뭉특한 위로 - 쓰다 Xeuda 1집 <이름 없는 것들>

“살아있는 것만이 반대로 가는 것을 할 수 있다. 흐르는 감정을 그대로 흘려보내지 않고, 보고 멈추고 다시 쓴다. 내 안에 존재하였으나 동시에 존재하지 않았던 감정들, 이름 없는 그 감정들에게 이름을 붙이고 부른다. 이름 없는 것들이 스스로 이름을 붙인다.”


라이너 노트 : 불안을 대하는 날카롭고 뭉툭한 위로

'쓰다' 1집 <이름 없는 것들>은 어딘가 날카롭고 불편하다. 그간의 활동이 쓸쓸함, 처연함의 범주였다면 이번 앨범은 보다 더 시니컬하고 신경질적인 쪽에 가깝다. 풍성한 사운드트랙 위에 뾰족하게 튀어나오는 차가운 사운드들이 그 감각을 더욱 고조시킨다. 그 위에 쓰다의 담담한 목소리가 얹어진다. 그의 목소리는 여전히 쓸쓸하고 처연하지만 삶의 어떤 굴곡을 넘어온 듯, 보다 성숙해진 음색으로 청중의 마음을 따뜻하게 어루만진다. 그간의 긴장이 무색하게 녹아내린다.

10곡이 수록된 이번 앨범은 첫 트랙부터 끝까지 한 호흡으로 듣기를 추천한다. 쓰다의 호흡에 따라 앨범을 쫓아가다 보면 어느새 감정에 동화되어 그가 그려낸 혼란을 온몸으로 맞는다. 그러나 결코 과하지 않다. 한껏 절제되어 있는 감정은 앨범 내내 숨어있다가 경계의 어딘가에서 불쑥 존재를 드러낸다. 하지만 그 혼란도 잠시. 다시 또 언제 그랬냐는 듯 평온한 얼굴이 되어 다시 삶을 담담히 노래한다.
