XXX, who is set to release their first EP [KYOMI] in July, is a rookie artist who is very unfamiliar to the Korean public. However, if you take a closer look at their track record prior to their debut, you can see how well-prepared they are. XXX is a duo formed by rapper 'Kim Ximya' and producer 'FRNK'. 'Kim Ximya' is a rapper who surprised hip-hop music fans when he was the only featured artist on 'E SENS's' [The Anecdote], which won Album of the Year at the 2015 Korean Popular Music Awards, despite not having any regular works. 'FRNK' also started to make a name for himself by producing 'E SENS's' 'Sleep Tight', and took on the official remix of 'f(x)'s' title track '4 Walls' from their fourth regular album without any regular works.

The interest shown overseas for these two people who have not even released their debut albums yet is also quite unusual. Starting with 'Beat 1 Radio', the most popular program on Apple Music, 'Maison Kitsune Hot Stream', and 'Hypetrak', globally influential media outlets have introduced the music of the young Korean artist XXX. [KYOMI] is an album that will allow you to completely immerse yourself in the charm of XXX's progressive music. This album, which consists of a total of 7 tracks including the title track 'Flight Attendant', is based on rap music, but the beats are closer to electronic music. 7월 첫번째 EP [KYOMI]의 발매를 앞두고 있는 XXX는 국내 대중들에게는 매우 생소한 신인 아티스트다. 하지만 이들이 데뷔 이전에 쌓아온 이력을 자세히 살펴보면 이들이 얼마만큼이나 준비된 아티스트인지 느낄 수 있다. XXX는 래퍼 '김심야'와 프로듀서 'FRNK(프랭크)'가 결성한 듀오다. '김심야'는 어떠한 정규 작품도 없이 2015년 한국대중음악상 올해의 음반을 수상한 'E SENS'의 [The Anecdote] 에 유일한 피쳐링진으로 참여하면서 힙합 음악팬들을 놀라게 했던 래퍼다. 'FRNK' 역시 'E SENS'의 'Sleep Tight'을 프로듀싱하면서 이름을 알리기 시작하여, 어떠한 정규 작품도 없이 'f(x)' 정규 4집의 타이틀곡, '4 Walls'의 공식 리믹스를 맡았다.
